Bless to be a Muslim

Assalamualaikum..

Have you ever wonder what will happen when you wake up the next day? Will you still be breathing in the mercy of Allah? Will you be tested with the hardship of insufficiency or rather will your heart filled with fear? What thought did you had when you heard of the landslide on the orphanage house of Al Takwa that had taken the life of 16 people? What emotion did you feel when you heard that the Palestinian and Syrian can't even go to sleep because of fear that has wrapped around their heart?

Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" and they will not be tried? (Al-Ankabut:2)

Did you felt anything or were you to busy with your whining?

But as for him who is stingy and self-satisfied, and denies the Good, We will pave his way to Difficulty. (Surat al-Layl, 8-10)

It always struck me that there is always the 'little thing' in life that I take for granted. The more I learn of the human body, the more it awe me as even the smallest thing as one amino acid can differentiate between the people that is granted with the luxury of health and vice verse.

And He gives you all that you ask for. But if you count the favors of Allah, never will you be able to number them. Verily, man is given up to injustice and ingratitude. (Qur'an 14:34)

The very fact that we are able to wake up and perform our solat this morning is some of the many proof that Allah has granted us the favour of being a Muslim.

Therefore remember Me, I will remember you, And be thankful to Me, and do not be ungrateful to Me." [Qur'an 2:152]

Atiqah :)
